Vintage Turkish Kilim from Kars, northwest border of Turkey and former Russia. , very pretty with lovely autumnal colours.
Woven in the mountains near the city of Kars in the early 1940s this is a really pretty kilim in excellent condition for its age.
There are some brightly coloured areas remaining on the kilim where the dyes were much stronger and remained unfaded which adds to the uniqueness of this kilim. Please see photos.
