Vintage Turkish Kilim from central Anatolia, very pretty with lovely autumnal colours.
Woven in the mountains near the city of Sivas in the 1970s this is a really nice kilim in good condition.
It has two central patterns each with a central scorpion patterns, in some cases this is interpreted as a dragon pattern too, both are used for protection of the family and family belongings.
Outer border has ying-yang pattern and, variations of comb pattern on the inner border which symbolises an upcoming wedding.
