Vintage Traditional Armenian Lilian Rug

Very traditional Sorouk carpet from the 1900s, also known as Lilian Sarouk. it has a date woven in, although not very clear it is likely to be 1912 or thereabouts.

At this age, it has some wear showing, one old repair, small area of reweave about 3inches square, little tatty around the sides but everything is intact and very strong.
