Old Turkish Bunyan Rug

Beautifully woven hand knotted Turkish Kayseri Bunyan Rug from 1960s with an overall floral pattern that resembles local meadows and decorated with what is known as the flower of seven mountains.

Knotted tightly on a cotton foundations and good general condition with a very low clipped pile.

Overdyed in Pink.

Like all distressed pile rugs this one has low and some very low pile and worn areas and may have old repairs, those are part of the shabby chic look and not considered as faults.
