Old Turkish Kilim Rug,
This is a lovely central Anatolian, Turkish kilim rug from 1960s with bright greens, blues and reds with a repeated chest pattern.
This kilim is woven very tightly on goats hair foundations, this causes the curling of the edges and it is normal for this type of kilim.
I always search for truly authentic pieces and small kilims in this collection are picked from small towns and villages across central Turkey.
As the nature of those kilims and due to their age, old repairs, small stains and some imperfections are normal and not considered as faults.
