Fine Turkish Kilim Rug,
This is a lovely central Anatolian, Turkish kilim rug from 1980s with blues and reds with a central repeating dragon pattern decorated with tribal motifs and sought after wide borders. Very finely woven kilim with added gold threads as highlights.
I bought this kilim from a dealer in Istanbul around 1992 and been in my stock ever since and this is the first time it is up for sale.
I always search for truly authentic, timeless pieces. Kilims in this collection are picked from remote towns and villages across central Turkey.
As the nature of those kilims and due to their age, old repairs, small stains and some imperfections are normal and not considered as faults.
