1940s Turkoman Tekke carpet. Five rows of guls with cochineal red centres on a rusty red background. Intricate and attractive borders. In excellent condition with minor repairs to the pile in just few places which are very hard to notice even at close inspection.
There is one little spot shown in the photos, It bellows our towards one end and there is a smooth fading from darker reds to more mellow tone.
Almost full pile entirely with kilim weave is still intact at both ends..
