Vintage Turkish Kilim from Central Turkey, woven in Brown, Purple and Black stripes in a nomadic fashion in two halves and joined in the middle.
Woven in the mountains near the city of Kayseri in the early 1960s this is a really nice kilim in good condition for its age.
It is not entirely straight along the edges and at one end it gets a bit wider. Also there are some colour runs and blemishes.
